This hosting company performs environmental site assessments, exploration and remediation solutions, underground exploration, and specialist railway geotechnical service. Their clients include NSW state government, property developers, architectural firms , engineers, local councils, along with homeowners and industrial facilities operators.
About the role
- Perform routine aspects of engineering requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles under close supervision
- Assist more experienced Geotechnical Engineers in broader Engineering activities
- Perform routine Engineering tasks
- Assist with field work, including geotechnical related observations during construction
- Carry out site supervision of ground investigations
- Carry out Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) testing and hand augering
- Prepare laboratory testing schedules
- Drafting of borehole logs and site plans
About you
- Degree in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering
- Experience in 2D/3D drafting and modelling would be advantageous
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint)
