About the role
- Prepare and draft environmental assessment reports or sections of reports
- Prepare and draft other project documentation and correspondence
- Prepare and provide environmental advice to clients
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and work cooperatively with people at all levels to achieve outcomes
- Manage multiple tasks on a range of projects and effectively deal with conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines
- Ensure compliance with quality management system requirements
- Proactive in managing utilisation/budget and takes corrective action if necessary, in consultation with the project manager and/or project leader
- Provide inputs to project progress reports for issues to clients
- Undertake other work as required by the relevant project manager and/or project leader
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organised and diligent in project administration (including invoicing and budget administration)
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
- Good team work skills and ability to work well under pressure
- High levels of flexibility with an affinity for working on several projects at once
- Have a strong background in NSW and ACT environmental planning and assessment
