This hosting company provides Environmental Sustainable Design (ESD) services and are looking for a talented IT help desk support who would like to get hands-on experience with our IT team.
About the role
- Shadowing other IT consultants to learn how we support our customers.
- With ongoing mentorship, undertaking remote and onsite break/fix technical support for customers.
- Understanding office processes and policies and working with management to update these, where required.
- Assisting with onboarding of new customers.
- Assisting with setup of new customer sites from start to finish.
- Pro-actively assessing existing customers to ensure the best service.
- Maintaining accurate customer records.
- Providing internal and external social content ideas to marketing representatives.
- Maintaining office equipment and undertaking hardware rebuilds (under supervision)
- Willingness to learn and assist fellow IT consultants with daily customer tasks and activities.
- Ability to prioritise work.
- Good phone manner.
- Ability to keep the customer informed whilst resolving issues.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
