About the role

  • Engage in effective specification activities across all key regions and sectors in the company’s three main product groups, i.e., direct strike, surge protection, and earthing & bonding
  • Direct or assist with initiatives to secure major projects for LPI, including specification activities
  • Plan and direct all allocated sales activities to achieve budgeted sales targets
  • Manage the existing distributor network and assist them in developing new sales opportunities within their market sector
  • Develop new business opportunities with new and existing customers and attend to key accounts personally to ensure satisfaction and achievement of milestones
  • Select and develop new distributors within sales regions for which direct responsibility exists
  • Plan and develop strategies for the penetration of LPI’s technical solutions into new markets
  • Maintain CRM records and keep opportunities updated with accurate forecasts
  • Support distributors and customers with general and technical queries, both from the office and in the field
  • Develop and recommend annual sales forecasts for responsible areas, propose budgets, and advise management on the market strategies required to achieve sales targets

About you

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and messages
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content creation
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis to track campaign performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Creativity and ability to think outside the box, contributing innovative ideas for marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
