About host company

The hosting company is an Australian engineering firm operating in both civil and building sectors. Directors at this company have in excess of 80 years of combined civil and construction engineering management experience in various disciplines. This includes design, consultation, certification, civil/building construction and maintenance.

About the role

  • Be on top of what other staff members are working on  
  • Management of ‘Work in Progress’ Masterfile
  • Support company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff
  • Organise office operations and procedures, check correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing office supplies, and assigning and monitoring functions of other team members
  • Keeps records of relevant information about projects and office matters
  • Scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results
  • Preparation of reports regarding office operations
  • Preparation of Assessment Reports
  • Maintain office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Maintain office staff job results by tracking results and coaching employees
  • Planning and monitoring job results
  • Analysing variances in different, and initiating corrective actions
